3/5/07  Hey thanks to all for making the colosseum a hot rocking night.  The place was packed and everyone came in from the B96 party to rock out.  Everyone stayed till close.  I would like to apologize for my voice being sub-standard.  I hope this flu will be gone by April 14th at Sportstime.  Take care and be safe on St Patty's Day.  GREEN BEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1/28/07  First show of 2007 went great last night,  It was BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR and lots of snow.  This weather really makes the bones ache.  Check out the pics they are up for the last 3 shows.  It was nice to be back in Palatine (Idols).  Our north side fans have been asking to come up north and we met alot of old friends while making new ones.  Our Wisconsin fans made it down and had a blast.  We also wanted to note that the show at Jamesons in Joliet next Sat has been cancelled.  Our next show will be March 3rd at The Colloseum.  Come on out and Rock out with your Co$@ out!

1/1/07  HAPPY NEW YEAR.  Due to the snow and cold on Dec30 we want to thank all who came out to Pom Poms.  We apologige for having to set the sound in the first set, but the management gave 45 minutes to bring in all our gear and set up the sound system.  We were suppose to load in at 7:30, however, the management continued to seat customers on the stage and made us wait until they finished.  We are hoping that 2007 will the best year for all of us.  Live long and prosper.

12/25/06  MERRY CHRISTMAS.  My Sacrifice wants to thank everyone for their support over the past 5 years and coming out to rock with us.  The Coloseum show was made by you.  You all helped Jack out by singing along with him.  He had lost his voice due to the flu.  Thanks again and merry xmas.

12/3/06 All of us here want to personally thank everyone for a unbelievable night at Sportstime.  Ted is one of nicest owners there on this planet.  We always takes care of us and our fans.  If you missed it, then you will have to come out April 14,2007 for that show.  The band decided around 12am not to take a break and continued playing for a My Sacrifice record 4 hours and 20 minutes.  We were all having such a great time that we did not want to stop.  Drinking and Dancing was the theme and we all went home with wild memories.  Check out the pics and you will some familiar faces.  Tim brought out somw new equipment so ther were more booties shaking on the stage.  Well our next show is on Dec 23 so lets all go and spend some XMAS time with our friends.   Thanks Tim for making us sound great!!!!

11/25/06  Stage 83(formally Sean Kaleys) was an interesting night because we were not suppose to start until 11:30-1:30, However we started at 10:30 until 2 am.  So all who came late we apologize but it was under circumstances out of our control.

11/23/06  HAPPY THANKSGIVING.  DONT EAT SO MUCH TURKEY THAT YOU CANNOT MAKE IT TO THE SHOW TOMORROW

11/12/06  We would like to thank Powerslave for playing with us.  It was funny becasue they blew out the circuits twice   during Wrathchild and The Number of The beast.  My Sacrifice took the show , but the light show could not be used due to its POWER.  We want to thank our fans for dancing and sticking around until 2am.  Remember without you we dont exist!

10/28/06   My Sacrifice had a rocking show with Down Lo.  It was a mystical night because all the planets were alligned and the skies were clear. It was our first show with a new line-up and the crowd ate it up.  Noone sat down for the whole 75min set.  We hope to see you again at Chicago City Limits.  Lets get ready for Leo's.

9/15/06    "Hello again ev-er-ry-bod-eee,  this is Harry Carry and tonights game is brought to be Play-Doh.  It looks like something soft and mushy that comes out of you ass, but its the wrong color there Steve.  What the hell is going on here.  Im babbling about nothing again ever try to say mortuary backwards (why are you trom). It makes no sense to me, Give me a Bud-weis-er."   A little humor for you guys.  If you goto our shows page they are updated and our next show is at  CHICAGO CITY LIMITS SCHAUMBURG, IL  ON FRIDAY    OCTOBER 27,2006.  We go on at 9:00PM. I also wanted to make a note on here that we are on My Space.  The link is www.myspace.com/mysacrificeband.    It is another way to contact us and see our shows, or just say hi.

9/04/06  The process of change is complete.  I would like to introduce the new line-up for My Sacrifice.  Bios are on the way so you all can learn more about them.  Kurt is back for his 3rd tour of duty on bass and keyboards.  We have joined forces with Rich (formally of The Leftovers) on drums.  With Johnny's departure we had some big shoes to fill and filled them with a man that needs no introduction.  He has played through thick and thin and record deals with Fishwhistle and Xseed.  I would like to welcome Vic into the band to round up My Sarifice.  We feel that its a new beginning and we will be putting on show that you would have never imagined from My Sacrifice.  All of us have been longing for this perfect match of players for a long time.

8/11/06  We have been in conference with many clubs and agents which have asked us to change our format.  My Sacrifice will be back in November better than ever with a diverse song list.  If you have any requests please email the band at mysacrifice@sbcglobal.net .  Over the past 5 years we have taken many of your requests and now we will play them.  We want you to remember the new My Sacrifice and when you leave wanting to come back for more.  We will be incorporating every genre of music over the past 30+ years.  So be ready for some awesome entertainment.

07/09/04    Surely you all remember 'Luke in the Morning' on 96.7fm from the good ole days when it was Will Rock.......the station that made our very own John become even more famous for being 'Beer Bong Champion'!!!  Well, Luke is a friend of the band and needs a little of your assistance.

Luke is trying to land a spot with 94.7fm The Zone.  We're positive that he would surely appreciate it if you went here and voted for him.  It only takes a moment and you'd be helping to get a get radio icon back on the air!  Thanks for your support!!!!

04/06/04    Thanks to all of our fans, family and friends for the continuous support, and for making 115 Bourbon Street SUCH an event to remember!  We rocked that place My Sacrifice style, and you can bet we'll be back there again soon to do it all over again!  The band is still going stronger than it ever was, and watch out for us this summer as we've got lots of exciting things up & coming!!!

01/18/04    CONGRATULATIONS to 96.7 Will Rock 'Beer Bong Friday' winner, our guitarist John!!!!  John faced the title defending champ, drummer Greg from Rigid, on Friday January 16th.  John, slamming 6 beer bongs (and says "I could've kept going") defeated Greg and will return to 96.7 Will Rock on February 6th.  John of My Sacrifice will be going up against John from Hybreed.  The 'Beer Bong Friday' contest starts on 96.7FM on February 6th @ 8am......tune in for some good fun and laughs!

01/10/04    Goodbye Mario......WELCOME GREG!!!!!!  My Sacrifice has obtained a new bass player with profound energy, vigor, dedication and karma.  Cultured to perfection over the years, Greg Pender has joined the musical intensity of My Sacrifice!  Greg doesn't stop at the bass, he also does impeccable back-up vocals.  Greg has been a stand-in for us quite often, and My Sacrifice has now made the move to make him our permanent bass player! WELCOME GREG!!!!

12/17/03    Groucho's in Chicago December 27th!  Come on out and celebrate Christmas My Sacrifice style!!!  You will receive a ticket when you walk in the door, and be sure to hang on to it because throughout the night we'll be holding a 'Christmas Raffle'.  Come on out and join in the My Sacrifice Christmas fun!

12/14/03    We would like to thank Comcast for coming out to Sean Kaleys last night and taping for The Paul Morgan show.  The taping will not be airing until sometime after the new year, but as soon as we learn of a date, we will be sure to post it for everyone.  Also, a big thank you to our 'director of visual effects', Greg Pender, for coming out and doing yet another STELLAR lighting performance!  Our new 'fans of month' is going strong, and be sure to check back following the Grouchos show to see our December fans.  Thank you all for your support and see you at our Grouchos Christmas show!

11/12/03    Starting this Friday, November 14th, we're going to be starting something new!  Each month we're going to have our 'fans of the month'.........so what does this mean?????  It means if your partying like there's no tomorrow @ a My Sacrifice show, and someone comes up to take your pic, be sure to SMILE because you have a chance of being featured as a 'fan on the month'!  We will choose one fan, or group, from each show during the month, and at the end of the month feature the pics of the special winners, on the front page of the website!!!!  Remember, it starts this Friday November 14th, so be sure to get wild & crazy and show those pearly whites!

9/22/03    We're back from Evansville, IN and let me just say...........man can those peeps party!!!!  We played down there on Sept. 20th @ Elliots at Marina Point; the crowd was terrific and made it well worth the trip.  Thank you to everyone who made us feel like we were right at home!  We would also like to thank both News 4U TV, channel 9 Evansville, and the radio station 103 GBF, for having us live on-air, it is always a great feeling to know that people support us and the music we play.  After the recent loss of our drummer Pat, we had Dan Walters fill in, and WOW can this boy rule those drums!!!  A HUGE thank you goes out to Dan...........THANK YOU DAN!!!!

9/16/03    Now let's see, we've got some real catching up to do, and in the future we'll try not to let this happen again.  So, we're gonna "Reader's Digest" it and start with the earliest this time.

Ok.......We left off July 4th so let's jump to July 10th, 11th and 12th (better known as the 'Serenity Tour').  We had such an outstanding time playing in Monroe, LA - Peoria, IL - and St. Louis, MO.  We'd like to give a special thank you to the radio station in Monroe for featuring the band 'on air' just hours before the performance at Top Gun.  And what a treat it was to find out that we played POP'S in St. Louis the weekend after Taproot was there!  Our whole tour consisted of loyal Creed lovers and we were elated to have them as part of our shows!

July 19th was at Sluggers in Chicago, great crowd!  That place gets so packed and the crowd truly are Creed fans so it's always an awesome night at Sluggers.

Our August 1st Penny Road Pub show marked another milestone for the band, it was the first show for our new Bass player Mario!!!  Mario joined with us in that show after just one practice and it couldn't have been better!  The people were responsive and the slot was perfect (we were the second of three bands).  It was great having the girls up front, too bad the stage is too high to get the crowd up there....but still a wonderful time!

August 2nd at Dreams was wake up and jam which was cool because we had heavy rockers RIGID opening, even suffering from strep-throat they kicked!!    Thanks to Brian from Rotor for hangin' out and dude, you know that "board" stuff meant nothin'....and by the way, Mario says "thanks for the pitcher".  We really like this stage cause the audience can get up and participate and dance up there with the band.

August 8th brought together again RIGID & MY SACRIFICE at 602 NORTH.  This place has one of the coolest light and sound systems around!  We appreciated all who showed up, especially Joe & Millie Estes for coming all the way for a first show.

August 16th was a packed night at Sean Kaley's.  Greg was jamming with the band again, he's got enough energy for everyone and didn't miss a beat, most of you know him as the lighting engineer.  It's just great that he can get up and fill a role when the group needs a hand, thanks Greg!

August 30th brought the band back to The Blue Iguana with openers ACOUSTICALLY CHALLENGED with a sweet acoustic set and a great Guns N Roses rendition.  Once MY SACRIFICE took the stage, the front of the room became a cesspool of hot bodies dancing the whole night.  I think the guys name was Jim who went flying off the stage, he was OK, just havin' fun.  Special thanks to 'BabyTaz' for coming on out & celebrating her birthday with us!

September 5th at Heroes & Legends was the beginning of another two show weekend, they really treat both the band and the crowd great here!  We ran into a lot of friends that we didn't expect to see.  Happy Birthday to three of our audience members who shared their night with MY SACRIFICE.

September 6th It's wake & bake off to Oasis 160 in Chicago Heights.  If you haven't been there - get there!  It's an Oasis of entertainment with the secluded pool room, techno-dance room and of course the band stage (which has been remodeled so it's huge).  The band had plenty of  room to stretch their legs and put on a top notch show.

September 13th brought MY SACRIFICE to Tommy's Place in Blue Island for the first time.  Thanks to openers VERGE ON DIRTY for traveling up from Bloomington, IN to be with us.  They did a super job and kudos to that drummer.  Speaking of drummers.... a special thanks to Dan Walters for lending us a hand last minute and sitting in for Pat, who was too sick to drum......stellar performance Dan!!!  The show was reaching higher levels as Jack was able to transport the crowd while they were immersed in the mood, every song was received with an explosion of exuberance.  After three encores, the band had to leave the crowd still chanting "one more song......".  Join the band back here Black Wednesday November 26th.

Next weekend, September 20th takes the band out of state to Elliots at Marina Point in Evansville, IN.  They are really anxious for the opportunity to bring the music of Creed to the area, as band members have already been in contact with many of the locals.  We are looking forward to an incredible night!

.................we'll also get caught up on the pics so keep coming back, we've got something to share with you!!!

7/4/03     HAPPY 4TH OF JULY..........  We hope all of our fans have a safe weekend.  Rory's on the 28th featured Greg , My Sacrifice's director of visual effects, playing bass.  Brad was unable to play that night due to a scheduling conflict with FlatheadFillups at Sean Kaleys.... The stage came alive with the director's presence and the band didn't miss a beat.

6/27/03    The first leg of the The Serenity Tour has been been booked and coming to a city near you. Louisiana, Missouri, and downstate Illinois watch out.

6/24/03    We would like to apologize for the pictures of  May and June shows not being up yet.  We are going through a change in the website and are having some slight problems.  Please be patient with us they will be up ASAP.

6/21/03    *THIS IS AN OLD POST.....WE ARE NO LONGER SEEKING BASS PLAYERS, AS WE HAVE FOUND A PERMANENT ADDITION!*  We would like to inform all of our My Sacrifice fans that our bass player Brad has joined Flatheadfillups and will be leaving us.  He will be finishing out some of the shows but we are in need of a permanent bass player.  If you are interested please email us at mysacrificeband@aol.com.   We would like to thank Lori from Dillagafs for an awesome time last night.  She knew how big of a turn-out it was going to be that night so an extra tent was put out in the parking lot to accommodate the over-flow of people.  We would also like to thank Pat and Zack from FlatheadFillups for coming on out and singing some songs with us.  V90 debut their new line-up at Pop's on the 7th.  I must say Mike did not show that the band has not played since last year after the loss of Mike Greene ( http://www.marizen.com/ ) and Luke Smith.  Next is Rory's in Addison on the 28th of this month.

5/27/03 My Sacrifice on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.  Jack and John were great.  They knew what they were getting into when they taped the show.  It was a comedy skit and we have to take it with a big smile.  John's daughter made the whole show.  If you have not seen it yet click the link here to see it.  http://www.comedycentral.com/mp/play.php?reposid=/multimedia/tds/cord/cord_7143.html.

5/18/03 The last few shows were amazing.  We played a 2 last minute shows at The Blue Iguana and Bookies.  Our fans turned out in numbers once again.  We would like to thank all of you for the quick support at these shows.  The fans dancing on tables and the bar made it an exciting evening.  Mas Kaos rocked the house with us at Bookies.  We would like to do another show with the guys again.  The 2 Joliet shows left us in awe.  After selling out at Dreams in Lockport, it was hard to find any seats, let alone standing room at Alfas II and Heroes and Legends.  If you were there until the end, then you all saw the fireworks almost explode at Alfas II.  A little Foxy Boxing on the dance floor.  Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm makes for a great show after the show.  Our bass player Brad could not make the show so our light man Greg played a hell of a show.  He got the whole crowd going with his energy and harmony.  We would also like to thank ROTOR for opening up and getting the fans heated up and energized.  It was a highlight of the evening when another little ruckus broke and a few people had to leave.  It was a great Mother's Day for Jack and Greg's mom, she was there to see her 2 sons play on show together for the first time.  Our next shows are up north so WATCH OUT north side.  Here we come!

4/6/03 It has been an incredible past few weeks with the inquiries of larger venues for My Sacrifice to play. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience about the start time at the Sean Kaleys show. We were scheduled to start at 11:15pm, however the club let Terrata, our opening band, played until after 12:00am, moving our start time to after 12:30am. It was a late start, but we played until almost 3am. Its a shame that some of the fans were asked to leave because they were removing some of their clothes. I guess some people are still living in the 50s. Dreams in Lockport was our best show yet. It was the first time in the history of Dreams that the bar was turning away fans because it was over capacity. The many hundreds that showed up made it a magical night especially when the chant USA was started by the fans after the song In America. You fans kept that energy so high that the 3 1/2 hour show went by so quickly. It was an interesting evening because some of Jack's stage wear was stolen. It is a complement that someone would do that but My Sacrifice does not condone in any actions that are illegal. We will see all of you at The Blue Iguana on April 18th. This show was just added as a favor to some of our friends who could not play the engagement.

3/8/03 Hello again and thanks for stopping by again to our site to read the news.
We had a couple of great shows in Midlothian at The Edge and Aurora at The Roundhouse.
The edge has never seen such a production, like ours, at their establishment. Between our lights,
lasers, stage dynamics, and crowd participation it was a night to remember. We would like to thank the
band Gravity Well who opened up for us and did a great job. Our next show at Walter Paytons Roundhouse
was a challenge for our singer Jack. He lost his voice a few days prior to the show, but toughed out
the 2 1/2 long hours. On a lighter note our bass player Brad, who plays for the band Egostatic,
is currently recording their first debut album. You can check them out at www.egostatic.com
Well don't forget our next show at Sean Kaleys on March 28 in Lemont.
Hope to see all you great fans there. We love you and take care.

2/15/03 I know it has been awhile since we posted some new material. The show at JuJu's went well considering there was a
winter storm that hit Bloomington dropping 12 inches of snow there along with ice and rain. We surely missed our director of visual effects.
We all hope that your Valentine's Day was fantastic and you spent it with someone you loved.
We spent our day with who we love, you, the fans. See you back up in Chicago on the 22nd at The Edge in Midlothian.
1/25/03
We would like to thank all of you who came out an supported us. We had a great time playing for the Penny Road Pub
and of course you fans. The band Smackdown was great as usual. You can reach their website at www.smackdownband.com
Hardline finished up the night hard and heavy. This was our first north side show and hopefully there will be many more to come.
there is no cover charge at our next show at JP Shortstops 5911 west 111st in Chicago Ridge on Saturday, February 1st.
Its is our way of thanking you the fans for supporting us. See you all on the flipside.
1/20/03

We would like to thank all of you fans that have been supporting us the past few months.
There is really no big news except our bass player Brad is now the new bass player for egostatic who will be
performing at the Metro feb 12, so if your not busy you should check them out. If you have any inquiries about places
to play or suggestions about making our show better, please don't hesitate to email us directly at mysacrificeband@aol.com.
You fans have been the best I must add. In good times and bad you are sticking behind us. We would love for you to tell us
how u like the shows by posting more comments on our message board. I can see that more people are becoming interested
in us by the large number checking out our website. We only have you to thank. In closing, we have many more new ideas for
the band so come check out a my sacrifice show near you.

12/14/02

11/29/02

We would like to thank all of the people who supported us in New York. It was an awesome time,
before, during ,and after the show. To all the fans who supported us and to our road manager and crew
for all their help. The only bad thing that came out of the show was the fact that some photo equipment is
missing. Hopefully they will show up. Rochester NY rocks hope to see all of you very soon.

11/20/02

We would like to thank all that supported us at Champs last Saturday. It was another great night. We love when you participate in singing the songs with us. The more you participate the better time we all have. All of us together make it a genuine Creed experience. I would like to thank all who took pictures, helped with the equipment and of course our light man Greg. A standing ovation for Kurt Birkland who came in and played with us on a 2 week notice. Thanks again to all and see you at Sean Kaleys Jan 4,2003.

11/14/02

We would like to thank all who came out Saturday at sluggers. You guys and gals made the show great. We enjoyed playing for you and we hope you enjoyed the show. Our bass player Brad Heinemann deserves a standing ovation for learning the set of songs in only 2 weeks. When you see him buy him a beer and give him a big kiss. My Sacrifice would like to thank Homage Sun for a great performance also. They were excellent and did a great job of warming up the crowd for us. What would be a comment without thanking Mike Greene for his fantastic work on the website? Terri and him also took some great pics on the photo board. There were many others taking videos and pics such as Carl Day, Greg Peterlin,John Kotrba, and of course our light man Greg Pender. We have many shows now booked in the month of December and January. Hope to see you on the this sat at Champ (Nov 16). Thank you all for your support. We love you for it.

These songs will be under multimedia. Just click on the song and you will hear the real thing. This CD is not for sale it is for PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY. Along with that a current local and US tour is under construction for the 2002-2003 calendar. If you have any places you would like us to play anywhere in the lower 48 states just drop us an email. MY SACRIFICE NEWS
